First year students (freshman and transfer students) who registered at Gallaudet for the first time for Spring 2012 and Fall 2012 semesters as full time matriculating students. (Those who enroll Spring 2013 can apply for the 2014 trip).
A minimum GPA of 2.75 as of December 21, 2012.
Student is in good standing with Student Affairs and Office of Student Conduct.
Purchase an International Student Identity Card (ISIC) for $25 from the Center for International Programs and Services. Click on ISIC form to download.
$390 application fee submitted with the application (if a GPA of 2.75 or higher is not obtained by December 21, 2012, the fee will be refunded; however, if the student violates the Code of Conduct, this money will not be refunded).
Attendance at all pre-trip and post-trip seminars.
Registration for Spring 2013 courses, including the FYST one-credit course.
A completed application for the program, with all required documentation attached. The FYST application must be submitted by Friday, September 28, 2012 by 4:00 pm to:
